How to Use Ultrasound Cavitation Effectively for Body Shaping

ArianaSpas Green 6-in-1 cavitation, RF and lipo machine

Using ultrasound cavitation effectively is less about finding a universal setting and more about following a controlled professional process. The exact device manual, operator training and applicable requirements should always take priority over a generic online protocol.

This is an operating-practice overview for spa owners and trained professionals, not a substitute for device instructions or individualized medical guidance.

Confirm training and scope first

Operators should understand the specific console, applicator, controls, contact requirements, intended areas, contraindications, cleaning process and emergency steps. Training on one machine does not automatically transfer to another.

Verify equipment before every appointment

  • Inspect the console, cord, ports and applicator cable.
  • Check the handpiece surface for damage.
  • Confirm the correct applicator.
  • Review maintenance alerts.
  • Confirm compatible gel and cleaning supplies.
  • Do not operate damaged or unreliable equipment.

Use consistent consultation and screening

Document the requested area, relevant history, implanted devices, skin condition, prior procedures and questions. When information falls outside the operator’s qualifications, pause and refer it to an appropriately qualified healthcare professional.

Maintain complete contact

The FDA notes that therapeutic ultrasound can cause tissue burns and requires complete skin contact. Use the compatible gel and contact method specified by the manufacturer.

Treat settings as device-specific

Frequency, output and timers should not be copied from another machine. Higher output is not automatically more effective, and stronger sensation is not proof of a better result.

Monitor and document

Observe the skin, contact and client feedback. Stop or adjust according to device instructions when there is unexpected discomfort, heat, skin change or equipment behavior. Record the device, applicator, body area, settings, duration, observations, feedback and aftercare.

Clean and maintain the system

Follow the manufacturer’s cleaning instructions and keep maintenance, repair and replacement-part records. Do not return a machine to service until a reported fault is resolved.

Communicate aftercare without promises

Provide device-appropriate information about temporary effects, warning signs and contacts. Avoid universal hydration, exercise or supplement claims unless supported by exact device instructions and qualified guidance.

The ArianaSpas Green 6-in-1 system is an example of a platform requiring function-by-function training. Review how cavitation works and what it cannot promise.
